Over the course of the next 10 days we will be taking an intimate and in-depth look at each Responsive Universe Mandala (chapter) including actual book excerpts.

EXCERPT FROM THE INTRODUCTION:
The Responsive Universe is based on Nine Mandalas, or tiers to self-discovery. In its simplest form, Mandala means “circle.” It is an ancient Buddhist symbol of inner space where everything is linked as one and from which the Cosmos and all its energy arises. The Mandala includes the journey of birth, life, and death. When words fail to describe a feeling, the essence of the Mandala can illustrate a concept’s nature and wisdom. By recognizing the Nine Mandalas, I now see life as an adventure in learning. The Mandalas have diminished my fears and uncertainties. With less room for fear, my life has more space for happiness and growth.
The First Mandala is about living with an open mind – questioning our schooling and challenging our current way of thinking. Are our belief systems and actions based in a true reality or are they muddled with ego, low self-esteem, and misinterpreted information? The Second Mandala teaches meditation and daily life practice. The Third and Fourth challenge organized religion and delve into spiritual matters like creation and the afterlife. The Fifth and Sixth Mandalas discuss our childhoods and pasts in an effort to understand loss and control patterns, essential to freeing ourselves from suffering. The Seventh Mandala touches on karma and positive energy, both which create and enhance our growth and happiness. The Eighth Mandala discusses living in a healthier world, both mentally and physically. And finally, the Ninth Mandala is about unity and connection and brings our journey around full circle.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR: You probably have more in common with author John C. Bader than you may suspect. John contends that no doctor of psychology can study human perseverance and be a complete authority on what creates happiness. John Bader will argue that true knowledge and wisdom comes from life experience and the intrinsic ability to connect to our True Nature. Much of what John C. Bader writes transcends his knowledge after an “Awakening” he experienced several years ago. An awakening is sometimes a gradual and even immediate realization of an alternate reality – a true reality free from the constraints of ego and false perceptions. A husband, father, amateur astronomer, wave rider and holistic spirituality writer, Bader has also studied extensively in Buddhist and meta-physical philosophy. John C. Bader actually has two stories to tell: One is of hardship and suffering and the latter is the positive epiphanies that followed. He now wants to share these revelations with you the reader in his latest work, The Responsive Universe, a collection of meditations and daily life practices.
